Download speed 

  • For a 1 Mbps connection speed and transfer rate 125Kb/seg VRML file takes about 1 minute 30 seconds to download. 
  • The discharge ends when all polygons are coded with numbers inserted above the surface of the avatar.
  • The VRML file was downloaded on computers that do not possess the minimum requirements for hardware or very low transfer rates could be between 15 and 20 minutes.

 Configuring the plug-in Cortona3D

  • If the avatar once loaded with all the polygons becomes very white, change the option that you set initially rendered: if you install the DirectX rendered cortona3D to switch to OpenGL. And if you install the OpenGL rendered cortona to switch to DirectX. This happens when the computer has video graphics accelerator cards. 
  • The visualization of VRML avatar is efficiently if you make the changes suggested in the previous item.
  • Note: The version of Firefox 7.0 is not compatible for proper viewing of VRML file.
